Peter Goldman has enjoyed many successes in real estate having joined Sotheby's International Realty after an accomplished career on Wall Street as a Fixed Income Trader and Portfolio Manager.
Peter’s combined training in the financial and real estate markets has taught him a keen sense of relative value, along with patience, professionalism, and sharp negotiating skills. He has extensive experience successfully executing complex purchases and sales, including apartment combinations. Not shy, he approached the owner of an apartment adjacent to one for sale about selling, and was able to create a-once-in-a-lifetime space for his clients.
He received his undergraduate degree from Oberlin College, his MBA in Banking and Finance from Pace University, and his accreditation as a Certified Negotiation Expert for Real Estate Professionals through the Real Estate Board of New York.
When Peter isn’t working at Sotheby’s International Realty, he is on his bike, running in Central Park, pursuing his appreciation of art in museums and galleries, spending time on the East End of Long Island or at his house in Litchfield County. He served as the Board Treasurer of his cooperative for many years. He is an excellent Spanish speaker and has helped many of his clients from Spain, Latin and South America with their housing needs.
